با هدف جبران کمبود آب آشامیدنی مورد نیاز شهر قزوین، عملیات تکمیل ایستگاه اصلی پمپاژ سامانه شرق این شهر به اتمام رسید و وارد مدار بهره برداری قرار گرفت که با اجرای آن ۳۸۵ لیتر در ثانیه به ظرفیت آب شهروندان قزوینی اضافه شده است.
به گزارش روابط عمومی، مدیر عامل شرکت آب و فاضلاب استان قزوین با اعلام این مطلب گفت: با اجرای این پروژه آب تولیدی از ۱۱ چاه حفر شده در شرق شهر قزوین به مخزن ارنجک و سپس به مخزن پونک منتقل و پس از آن به شبکه توزیع آب شهر قزوین تزریق می شود.
داراب بیرنوندی در ادامه افزود: پنج حلقه چاه دیگر نیز حفاری شده که در آینده تجهیز شده و به شبکه تامین آب شهر قزوین اضافه خواهد شد.
وی ادامه داد: اجرای پروژه مذکور برای تامین آب پایدار شهروندان جزء برنامه های میان مدت شرکت آبفای استان قزوین است و برنامه تامین آب بلند مدت نیز از طریق پروژه انتقال آب سد طالقان توسط شرکت آب منطقه ای استان در دست اقدام می باشد.
بیرنوندی در پایان خاطر نشان کرد: در نتیجه اجرای پروژه یاد شده طی هفته ی اخیر، برخی مناطق شهر قزوین با افت فشار مواجه شد که در این زمینه از شکیبایی مردم شریف شهر قزوین تقدیر می شود.
گفتنی است پیش از این تامین آب آشامیدنی شهر قزوین از طریق ۵۲ حلقه چاه در غرب قزوین صورت می گرفت که با تکمیل پروژه شرق، کمبود آب شهر قزوین در پیک مصرف تابستانی تا حد زیادی جبران خواهد شد.

He continued: The implementation of the mentioned project for sustainable water supply to the citizens is part of the mid-term plans of the Qazvin Provincial Water Company, and the long-term water supply plan is also underway through the Taleghan Dam water transfer project by the regional water company of the province.
In the end, Beyranvandi pointed out: As a result of the implementation of the mentioned project during the last week, some areas of Qazvin city faced a pressure drop, and in this regard, the patience of the noble people of Qazvin city is appreciated.
It should be mentioned that before this, the drinking water supply of Qazvin city was done through 52 wells in the west of Qazvin, and with the completion of the East project, the lack of water in Qazvin city during the peak of summer consumption will be compensated to a large extent.
